The day might start early, if you're lucky, with fresh sea turtle tracks crossing the sand to the Gulf. More likely it starts with coffee on the main deck, the Gulf catching the morning light, the dog already at the back door ready to go. Ninety steps and you're there. Days at Turtle Tracks drift between the beach, the community pools, and the satisfying routine of a place that simply works: the kitchen is well-stocked and organized, the laundry room has a folding counter and stool so you're not crouching on the floor, the foyer has artistic hooks for bags and leashes right where you need them. By evening, both the king suite deck and the queen bedroom deck are competing for the best sunset view — the answer is that they're both spectacular, and different guests will stake their claim on their favorite. The main level is bright and open — fully stocked kitchen with extra grocery storage, breakfast bar with two barstools, bay window seat, dining area, and a generous living room with queen sleeper sofa flowing onto the large Gulf-view deck with gas grill and outdoor dining. The queen guest bedroom with its own Gulf-view sunset balcony and full bath is conveniently on this level.

Turtle Tracks was perfect for us. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would recommend for anyone who would like a nice quiet place to stay.

The condo was well equipped, perfect location and was a super easy check in

We enjoyed the townhome. It was comfortable and spacious. I appreciate the communication with the owner and the welcoming of our dog. There were things in the cupboard like spices and nonstick spray and detergent left for us. That was nice. The downfall of the unit is the two sets of 14 steps. It didn’t occur to me how many times I’d be using those daily. Great stay!

Overall, the property was as described. Literally 2 min walk to the beach and one of the best spots in the cove. This was like a home away from home with all the amenities needed to enjoy our time. I really appreciated having the beach chairs, cart, umbrella, etc available. Would stay again!

Great info and communication. Nice end unit with a very short walk to the beach. Very comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen and laundry - had everything we needed. It was nice to have the extra beach gear and a cart.

We absolutely enjoyed our week at Turtle Tracks. The condo was just as we expected. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. There were more than enough beach chairs and a beach cart. Everything worked out well. We had a slight hiccup with the push button keypad for the front door lock, but got it resolved with a phone call, and some insight on a sticky key/button. Devi and her staff were prompt when we reached out with another minor cabinet-hardware issue that was fixed pronto. We used the gas grille on our porch, and it sure was nice that they had a spare propane tank (because in mid-cooking the one we had ran out); but, quick switch and we were good to go. The place is not “on the beach or dunes” but sits about 8 units back - maybe 100 steps from the dunes. It was just what we needed. And our little pup had a blast too. Barrier Dunes is very pet friendly and so is the beach.

Cape San Blas is our go to every year for family vacation. We usually stay in barrier dunes but different condos, usually just what we can find. The location was perfect for getting close to the beach and very manageable walk with two little kids. Will definitely book with them again, just through their website next time!

The condo worked out great for us. We brought our daughter and her husband and daughter, they stayed in the master upstairs and it was perfect.

We stayed at Barrier Dunes Turtle Tracks for 2 weeks in April/May 2023 and had a FANTASTIC time! The townhouse had everything we needed inside and out-the beach chairs & beach cart were used daily. The property is quiet yet family and pet friendly. We enjoyed the local attractions but mostly the unspoiled beaches! We plan to visit next year for at least 3 weeks!!

Nice place. My yorkie loved it. It is more geared for fishing but I loved that I could take my dog.

The unit was very clean. Very well supplied also. Due to it raining every day, we did manage to get to the pool which wasn’t far from the unit. Great place to lay your head down if you’re beach bums like us. There wasn’t an ocean view except from the balcony down stairs from the bedroom.

Great, comfortable and pet friendly condo. Everything we needed was available, even beach chairs. We had simple problem with gas grill and someone came to fix it promptly. My second vacation renting thru Cape Escape Vacation Rentals, they are the best! We will be back, it is paradise.

We just got home and I hated to leave. The house was great, our weather was great and the Cape is always great. Everything about our booking, check in and check out was breeze. We enjoyed our two weeks in Turtle Tracks - it really felt like home. Excellent appliances, good bbq and very comfortable bed. The condo is well positioned to watch sunset from second floor balcony. Just a couple of minutes from the lovely dog friendly beach.

What a great place to relax, enjoy the sunshine and unplug from work. Cape Escape Vacation Rentals in particular Turtle Tracks-Barrier Dunes at Port St. Joe, Florida--Condo was spacious, very nicely furnished, super clean and could walk to the Beach within minutes. There is a pool, tennis court and you can even grill out at your own Condo if you want. Wendy Jackson goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You can bring your Dogs and take walks on the Beach and ride the waves with them. Plenty of room on Beach for families to spread out and enjoy quiet time with each other. Beach is Clean and the Sunsets are Beautiful; just a fantastic and safe place to Vacation and I hope next Summer we can stay longer.

We just stayed at Turtle Tracks. We had a great time, the beach was quiet and the waters were clear. They were extremely helpful, sending someone right away to replace a lightbulb that we couldn’t reach. We enjoyed the very many beautiful sunsets on the top deck and we even extended our stay because we loved the area so much!
