Little Pelican is built for the kind of vacation where slowing down is the entire point. Wake up in the top-floor king suite as morning light filters in, the freshwater lake glimmering below the private deck and the Gulf shimmering just beyond it — two of the prettiest views on Cape San Blas, from the same balcony chair. Take your time over coffee at the breakfast bar before drifting downstairs to load up the beach gear from the stocked closet. The beach is steps away, the beachfront pool is just around the corner, and St. Joseph Peninsula State Park — one of Florida's most pristine natural treasures — is practically at the front gate. Afternoons are for the Adirondack captain's chairs on the main deck, the gas grill, and the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when you're truly away from it all. Evenings, you climb back up to the master suite, fill the soaking tub, and let the day dissolve. The pelicans have the right idea.

The main level is bright and open with a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar with two barstools, bay window seat, dining area, living room with queen sleeper sofa and Smart TV, half bath, and a large deck with gas grill and Adirondack captain's chairs overlooking the lake. Stacked washer and dryer conveniently located on this level.

We had another wonderful stay at Little Pelican. Our second stay in this lovely condo. Furniture and bed were very comfortable. Decorated beautifully with a Pelican theme. Kitchen was well stocked with most everything you need for cooking as well as beautiful stoneware dishes. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the pond below. Quick walk to the beach and either of the pools. The bedroom is quite spacious and the living area is open and spacious as well. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent again.

Spacious and nicely decorated 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo with a great view. Nicely updated bathrooms. Perfect for a couple and dog. Short walk to the beach as advertised. Kitchen was satisfactory, an updated range would make it perfect. We plan to be back.

Perfect location with a very short walk to the pool and beach access. The condo was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit.

I almost booked another rental through a 3rd party. I know it\'s the reality of the world we live in, and at times necessary. But I shifted gears and booked the rental directly with Cape Escape, and the person who answered the phone (Donovan) reminded me of everything I loved about the Cape, PSJ and MB (I used to live there). Personal, a wonderfully slower pace and hospitality. This space is clean, simply and such a great location. I always loved Barrier Dunes. When there is a strong breeze at the beach, the pools are a great way to spend the day. Everyone is friendly and the energy is awesome. Thanks a million. We will be back...

What a wonderful unit! (Way better than the last one!) Very clean and up to date. Owners were very responsive. Have already booked for next year!

The little pelican was ready for us before check in time, that was very much appreciated. Well stocked beach closet including a beach cart. Very short stroll to the beach for the best sunsets ever. Such a relaxing vacation . Devi was super helpful and very responsive. We have already booked with her for next year! She is awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at Little Pelican! It was quite roomy and plenty of storage for all our things. Beautifully decorated and enjoyed eating our meals on the deck. The bed was very comfortable as well. Beach chairs were in excellent shape and nice selection of beach gear including beach wagon. Great location on pond and quick walk to beach. We look forward to another visit to this sweet condo. Devi and Donavan are super hosts as well!
