Ponds: Three freshwater ponds perfect for fishing or feeding turtles.

Clubhouse: A beach-front clubhouse is available for private rentals for events like weddings.

We aim to make your vacation hassle-free by providing essential comforts and conveniences:

Kitchen:

  • Fully equipped with plates, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, etc.
  • Starter supplies: dish soap, sponge, scrub brush, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, plastic wrap, tin foil, regular coffee pot with filters, and a starter roll of paper towels.
  • Spices for cooking your fresh catch.

Laundry:

  • Full laundry room with a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent.
  • Iron and ironing board.

Linens:

  • All necessary linens are provided (sheets, bath towels) – just remember to bring your beach towels!

Entertainment & Comfort:

  • Wireless internet access in all rentals.
  • Multiple TVs and DVD players, along with a selection of movies, books, and games.
  • Ceiling fans and central heating and air conditioning.
  • Hair dryer.

Outdoor & Beach Gear:

  • Covered parking for two cars.
  • Outdoor shower and hose for rinsing off after the beach.
  • Garbage cans with regular pickup service (3 times/week in season, 2 times/week off-season).

A: Yes, Barrier Dunes is very pet-friendly! We provide pet stations throughout the neighborhood, dog towels, a guest dog dish, and a hose to rinse sandy paws. There are also plenty of grassy areas for your pets to enjoy.

 

Q: Are the swimming pools heated?
A: One of our two community pools is heated during the months of March, April, October, and November. The other pool is directly gulf-front.

 

Q: Is internet access available in the rentals?
A: Yes, all Barrier Dunes rentals come with complimentary wireless internet access.

 

Q: What kind of beach gear is provided?
A: Each rental includes a “beach closet” stocked with items like beach chairs, a beach cart, a cooler, a bucket and shovel, and even a crab net and bucket for your enjoyment.

A: A detailed Guest Information Book is provided in each rental.
