The beach is a leisurely 115-step stroll, or skip it entirely and spend the morning at the beachfront pool across the way. Afternoons tend to blur beautifully: a kayak paddle in St. Joseph State Park (practically next door), a lazy hour in the bay window seat with a book, or a nap in the oversized king suite before evening. And then the real Cape Happy Hour begins — drinks on the master deck, the Gulf turning amber and rose, the turtle pond catching the last light below. This is what you came for.

The main level is open and inviting with a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, a comfortable living room with sleeper sofa and bay window seat, and direct access to the large deck with gas grill and seating overlooking the turtle pond. The queen guest room is on this level with its own private balcony and updated walk-in shower bath.

Our stay was perfect. The Condo was clean and decorated tastefully. The showers have a nice upgrade. It is a short, easy walk to the beach, and the renters closet had everything we needed, including chairs.

We've stayed at this location for 3 years in a row. We love it. It is always clean and comfortable. Less than half a block from the beach and the balconies are private (not shared with a place next door). It is pet friendly and spotlessly clean. We intend to stay here during the holidays every year.

Couldn’t have been better for a long weekend. The unit was well stocked and clean. Directions and communication was great. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

The townhouse was perfect! Super clean and decorated nice! Love all the hooks! The beach close has everything you need and not need to take anything from home! The pool was great and the location to everything was wonderful! We will be coming back!

We really loved this place, Cape Happy Hour. It is just a 1-minute walk to the beach, close to a couple of great restaurants, and biking in the state park right next to the property is a lot of fun too. Perfect location and very clean. Everything we needed was there and we had a great time. We plan to book this same unit next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was perfect for our family of three with room to spare. The condo is well equipped and had everything we needed including beach toys for our toddler. A 2 minute (max) walk to the beach. The pool in the complex was a great additional as well.

My husband, pups and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo! The minute we walked in, it smelled clean and it was. It was well stocked and was the first time we never had to restock TP, paper towels, soaps, etc. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were great, plenty of towels, towels even for the puppies! I counted and it was 200 steps to the top of the ramp going down to the beach. Although we weren’t directly on the beach we were close and we still could see the sunsets from this condo. There was nothing that we had an issue with other than having to leave it behind when we left. We will definitely book this condo again. Thanks Devi, you were great!

Devi and Donavan did a fabulous job managing Cape Happy hour and were always available for us! This townhome has everything you could need. It is very well stocked, super beachy and cute decor, very comfy beds and great views!! It was wonderful being able to hear and see the ocean from the decks, too. We loved our snowbird stay so much we are planning on returning next winter!!

Great time on a family-oriented beach. Devi has everything covered to beach supplies, outdoor shower (with hot water), cooking supplies for indoor or outdoor grilling (along with backup propane tank). Parking is a little tight under unit for large vehicle but not too major.

Everything was perfect and clean. We had a great vacation and loved the condo and surroundings. Will be back soon; a truly memorable experience as always! Thanks for the hospitality, each time!

We have stayed with the cape escape 4 times in 3 different units and every time it has been 5 stars. We will be back again and again.

One of the best rental experience ever. Cape Escape is an excellent company to work with. Willing to help and available for questions. I will for sure seek to use them again. As for the property itself, it was perfect for my family. It had a feel of staying at someone’s home rather than just a rental place. Like the owner was out of town and I was house sitting for them. If you’re looking for a place to rent get in touch with Cape Escape Vacation Rentals. Don’t waste time with Airbnb or other sites.

This rental was perfect for our family of three and a dog. You will want/need nothing more. It is more adorable than the pictures. The main deck is huge and please consider it as another room to spread out in as we spent SO much time there. This unit faces south which allows for beautiful sunsets and view of the beach, which is virtually steps away. The heated pool is lovely even in March when we visited. Being in this unit gives you just the right amount of sense of community. There are people around, yet you feel very private. Having experienced the amusement parks, and the popular spring break beaches, we find the pace and lifestyle of Cape San Blas is more our style. So glad this slice of heaven still exists.

Cape Happy Hour was great. Very clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The walk to the beach was short. We actually enjoyed the walk each day. We met and talked with some great people and dogs along the way. Devi was great to work with.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the decor was and how clean the unit was. The little extras provided - laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, lots of spices, dog sheets and towels, etc. - were very much appreciated. The short walk on the path to the pool and beach was great. This unit if a great value for the money.!
