Thank you for such a wonderful place for our family to enjoy (Cape Escape II)!!  Beautiful home with a beautiful lake front view and pathed walkways to the beach!! People riding bikes, using kayaks, walking their dogs. Wonderful, quiet, and friendly community. We appreciated having the gas grill and utensils readily available along with a beach cart that’s made for the beach, beach chairs and umbrella made for a great beach stay. We look forward to staying here again!!

What a wonderful extended weekend with husband, daughter and parents, Sept. 19-22, 2020 Turtle Crawl had everything we needed. I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the unit as well as the grounds. One would never guess it was a pet-friendly unit, it was immaculate. Such a friendly, quiet community, the perfect escape. I think our fur babies enjoyed it even more than we did. The service provided by Wendy was exceptional. It is not to often that you find someone so professional, yet so personable, so kind, so prompt, yet so attentive to all details, needs and wants. She’s amazing! I highly recommend. We can’t wait to get back to the Cape!

The beach is lovely and dog friendly.  Cape Escape’s units are always clean and have everything you need. We have stayed at the Barrier Dunes numerous times since the late 1980s and it is a nice development with all the amenities that blend into the landscape unlike a giant concrete box.

The rental home, warm and accommodating, made for a relaxing time.  We lacked nothing.  The beach, very clean, with warm gulf waters, highlighted a great time in the sun.  We enjoyed seeing the pets on the beach as the other vacationers.  We captured a magnificent sunset that we will remember for years.  Having our breakfasts on the patio added an extra flavor to our coffee.  Thanks for everything.

We spent a week-long vacation in Cape Escape II at Barrier Dunes and had an amazing time. The condo is spacious, comfortable and clean. It is also well-stocked with most cooking & cleaning supplies provided. There’s even an extensive spice selection!   I’d never encountered that before in a vacation rental.  The condo location is great too, especially the back decks overlooking the lake.  The back decks face east so you get wonderful sunrise views from both. The front main bedroom deck has a good view to the gulf as well.

The unit is a short walk to the beach which was relatively uncrowded with everyone able to social distance with no problems. A short hike in either direction on the beach provides almost no one else around. We quickly found watching the sunset on the beach a must do each day. They were just spectacular! Also, Wendy was a pleasure to deal with & responded to each request almost immediately. The instructions received for the day of arrival were very thorough & easy to follow. Overall, we had an excellent time in Cape San Blas and Cape Escape II and can’t wait to return. I would definitely rent this unit again!

We had the most spectacular sunsets at the Cape! Our family really enjoyed our stay September 4-11 2020! The grands thought swimming with the fish and seeing the bottom of the ocean floor was amazing!

Wendy was great working with, the house was wonderful, and our dog always loves coming too!

Horseback riding was great with Rocking M, so fun! Sure hope to go back to Walking in Sunshine!

This was by far one of the best vacations I’ve had. From the condo to the beach no complaints from me. If you are bringing your fur babies this is the place to stay! I was worried the condo would have a bad pet smell but it DID NOT. First time for me at Cape San Blas and I will def. be back again. The Barrier Dunes community was beautiful and very dog friendly. The beds were comfy, everything was fully stocked and we took advantage of the beach closet. The beach was only a short distance away and very easy to get to. Wendy was great and easy to work with and we even got to meet her while we were there. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my stay with family and most of all my 8-year yellow lab who absolutely loved the ocean!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Tracks. The area was amazing between the quiet retreats in nature and the beautiful ocean. Everybody was so friendly. We happened to be staying at the same time as the property manager and she was so kind! It felt great to know we had a friend at the Cape. We brought our one-year-old daughter with us and it was so nice to have some of the comforts of home. Just about anything we needed was provided, including a high chair and pack n play. The only thing I wish I packed was a baby gate because of the stairs. Just a heads up for anyone coming with small children. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful trip to the Cape and will definitely be back again! The Cape Escape I was so cute, and comfortable.   It had everything we needed and Wendy was fantastic to work with.  Our place was just a short walk to both pools, tennis court and we were able to easily access the beach. It’s my favorite vacation spot right now, especially during scallop season.
