Thank you, Wendy, we had a lovely time during our short stay. We wished we could have stayed longer. The rental home was nice and efficient. It is truly just a short walk or steps to the beach. The beach buggy was very helpful to carry the beach items. Turtle Crawl was supplied with all the starter needs and even came with wood to have a small fire on the beach, however, we did not do-it was way too hot to do so. Our dogs enjoyed the morning/evening walks on the beach. It was nice to bring them, although, they were too chicken to go into the water! The area is very well maintained and quiet, the way we like it. We will sure be a return customer!!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Turtle Crawl. It’s such a “beachy” house and very relaxing. We actually came there to ride out Hurricane Matthew. What a blessing to have found your lovely house. My sister was visiting from PA and really enjoyed her stay. We loved being able to walk to the beach. We ate at Sunset Coastal Grille the last night we were there. The food was good and the view spectacular.
A little bit of history: My husband’s great uncle, Ernest Marler, was the Asst. lighthouse keeper at Cape San Blas lighthouse and died in 1938 (he was actually murdered according to historical records, but it is still unknown who did it and why). There is a book published called “Secrets of Cape San Blas!” It’s based on Ernest Marler but fictional. Very interesting read. It’s a coincidence that the code was the same as the date he died. Also, there was a picture of the lighthouse on the wall. And the master bedroom had a plaque with “Captain’s Quarters” on it. My husband is a Captain, his father was a Captain and his grandfather was a Captain. All from Destin, Fl. My husband’s name is David Ernest Marler, named after his great uncle. You can imagine our surprise when we arrived to find all of this. It was like it was meant to be!
We would love to come back again when were not escaping storms and can take advantage of all that you have to offer.
Thank you for the short mini vacation in your beautiful house!

We loved our time in the unit and appreciated that it was clean when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and you were spot on with directions on access and flexible with our check-in. We were especially pleased that it all happened at the last minute and you were so accommodating so thank you!
It’s my second stay in these units and I’ll be sure to return. I’m happy to recommend to others.
My wife, our dog, and I want to tell you how enjoyable our stay in your Turtle Tracks, Barrier Dunes 191. in December was. When we arrived, we found the unit, and everything in it, to be very clean. The unit was very well supplied with virtually anything a vacationer could need or want.
The beach was a short walk away and was also clean and wide. We walked twice each day for at least an hour. Our dog loved it, but refused to go into the ocean or even get his feet wet.
The time we spent in Unit 191 was the perfect relaxation for us and we hope to return next December.
We had a great time at Turtle Tracks (Barrier Dunes 188). The condo had everything we needed and then some. The beach was beautiful and the kids loved the pool too.
We had a wonderful time and the condo was very nice & very, very clean. The way the condo was supplied was just incredible. You and your staff are very professional & were always available. Hopefully we will be returning later in the summer.
Julie, Dudley and I had an amazing time at the Cape. It was indeed the perfect getaway and was even more special because we were able to bring “the Big Man” along with us. Turtle Tracks (Barrier Dunes 188) was ideal for us and as you described….left us wanting nothing!
We met several new friends on the beach, all of whom spoke very highly of you and your properties and we couldn’t have been more content. I am attaching some pictures of Dudley who enjoyed the waves to the point that each evening we had to DRAG him out of the water!
Once we walked into that wonderful townhome, all of our stress went away! The townhome was incredible! The beach was incredibly beautiful & we fell in love with the fact that there were not many commercial businesses around & we had no cell phone signal. Just us & the beach no distracting noises either electronically or from outside businesses. We loved it! We felt like we were on an island!
While we were there we ate at some great quality seafood establishments. We also went horseback riding on the beach which was absolutely 1 of the best things we have ever done. We also tried kayaking. We really liked it as well. Thank you for everything & I am certain we will be returning sometime next year!
My husband, his daughter and now fiancé spent 4 days and 3 nights in an absolutely beautiful condo, that had everything you could need! We were about 100 steps away from the Gulf, and this beach has been ranked #1 in beaches in USA!
There is plenty of coastline so you feel like the beach is your personal little piece of heaven. Dogs are allowed everywhere. Everyone seemed to be responsible for their dogs and often we would run into fellow dog owners and strike up pleasant convos while our dogs made new friends.
I recommend this place to anyone who loves to swim, feel white sand between your toes & swim with your pooch.
Our family decided on a last minute get away and stumbled upon Cape Escape during our search. From the initial point of contact throughout returning home, the communication & customer service were like nothing we had experienced before. When we arrived we were super impressed by how “homey” the condo felt. We were immediately comfortable, were impressed with how well stocked the condo was with everything we needed and loved that the climate control was very comfortable.
We spent time in the Bay at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. We rented kayaks & a paddle board, searched for scallops & other sea creatures & fished. We also spent lots of time on the beautiful, quiet beach, had a bonfire & took a trip to Apalachicola.
Prior to our trip to Cape San Blas we had never heard of it. But, we have nothing but good things to say about the location & the condo. It was truly a wonderful, relaxing time & we can’t wait to return!
