Angela Bradley October 2016
We hated to leave the “Hideaway” yesterday. We had a great time and with the hurricane on the east coast we were blessed with nothing but sunny, clear blue skies our entire stay. I can’t thank you enough for sharing your place with us. I have never stayed in a rental that was so well stocked with everything to make our stay comfortable. My mother got very excited when she was able to use her cell phone from the balcony of the twin bedroom. The rest of us just turned our phones off and enjoyed the rest and relaxation.
I hope we can rent from you again as we voted the “Hideaway” to be the best place we have ever stayed at the beach !!
Thank you again !!
Teri Urbeck August 2016:
We had a great time at the beach even with the overcast skies! We were happy with the condo….so much stuff supplied in the kitchen~that was GREAT!! I personally LOVED the wall air conditioner in the master bedroom!!
We went on a snorkel excursion into the bay which was neat. If you do the snorkel trip I would get the flippers even if you don’t think you’ll use them…I didn’t take them and wish I would have. It was a shallow snorkel which had you in water that could be waist deep or up to my shoulder (I’m 5’6″). I was able to walk and put the goggle underwater and look around while my husband took off over the sea grass in the deeper water. You were given a net and mesh bag if you wanted it. You could collect things then they ladies on the boat would do a “show and tell” about the various things people found. Pretty cool! Then all living creatures were returned to the water. You were able to take home the items you found that were no longer living.
