READY TO BOOK YOUR CAPE SAN BLAS, FL VACATION?:

Once you call or e-mail   with a request to reserve a date, a contract will be emailed to you.  The signed contract and a $300 deposit (which converts to a fully refundable damage deposit) are due within 5 days to secure the reservation.  Half of your balance is due 60 days (120 days on rentals of 2 weeks or more) prior check-in and the other half is due 30  days(60 days on rentals of 2 weeks or more) prior to check-in.  The due dates and totals will all be on the Rental Contract that will be emailed to you once you confirm your dates!

No need to worry about keys or arrival time, a lock box is provided at all of our Barrier Dunes Vacation Rentals! Just prior to your check-in date directions from Port St. Joe, Apalachicola or Tallahassee to Cape San Blas, Florida & Barrier Dunes will be emailed, as well as codes for the Barrier Dunes gate and the lock box codes.

If you have questions about Cape San Blas, Florida, the surrounding area, Barrier Dunes or our condos,  I am happy to answer them, either before or after booking and right through your vacation!  I would like for your vacation to start before you get to Cape San Blas and be relaxing throughout!

Miscellaneous Contract Information:
Check-in time is 4 pm EST and check-out time is 10 am EST.

We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent for the duration of the contract.

CANCELLATIONS:
Once we receive your deposit, we block all other perspective renters from renting the specific Barrier Dunes Rental on Cape San Blas for the dates you have reserved.

• The $300 deposit is fully refundable if all conditions of the contract are met.  If the reservation is canceled, the $300 reservation fee is NOT refundable!
• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days (60 and 120 days for rentals of 2 weeks or more) of check-in will forfeit one half of the rental payment in addition to the deposit.  
• Cancellation within 30 days (60 days for rentals of 2 weeks or more) will forfeit the entire rental payment and the deposit.
• EXCEPTION:  Once you notify me in writing that you are canceling your reserved dates, every effort will be made to re-rent the unit.  If the unit is re-rented for the same time period and the same rent amount, the full rent, less a $100 administrative fee will be refunded.  If the unit is re-rented for a lesser amount, the difference between the two rental amounts and less a $100 administrative fee will be the refuned amount.  The minimum cancellation fee is the $300 deposit and a $100 administrative fee.
• All cancellations must be in writing.
• Every effort will be made to re-rent the Barrier Dunes condo for the same term.  The more notice you give of a cancellation, the more time we have to work on re-booking the unit and maximize the refund to you!

There is no smoking inside any of our Barrier Dunes condos!  Smoking is only permitted on one of the porches with all the sliding doors and windows closed.  Smoking inside will result in the loss of your entire deposit!

We had an absolute BLAST on vacation!!!  The weather was gorgeous, the beach sugar-white and your home is just lovely. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much for all of the extras. I think this is the first time we've gone on vacation and felt totally at home. I adore the guest book and all of the additional local information that was provided. We made our restaurant choices based on those reviews!

Thank you again. Dario is now officially a spoiled beach dog. Seeing him run off leash and have the time of his life on the beach was the best!  Steve, Dario and I had a WONDERFUL and relaxing week. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Dear John and Wendy,
A nice, cozy, comfortable home away from home.  Enjoyed walks on the beach, nature walks and all the fresh shrimp we could!  We ate a lot of lunch out and collected some more menus for your Guest Information Book, which was very helpful by the way!

The golf was GREAT!  Playing golf in February is not something we can do on our Cape, especially this year with all the snow up there!  Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
