We had a great time and I am sure we will do it again! Demon loved it and everyone was so friendly. They did not remember me and Kevin, but they always remembered Demon and he is so friendly they loved him! I will send you some pictures when I teg them developed and will scan them and send them to you!
The beach was great! Went fishing with Captain Bobbie and caught red fish. We left Demon with a pet sitter recommended by your local vets office. It is called Golden Rule and the girls name is Diana. She watched Demon one day and all the people there said she was very nice and frienldy and Demon loved her so we left the info in your book in the condo. We loved the Dockside Cafe and we took Demon with us and ate outside. They have a pet walk area too!

We really enjoyed the area and your place was fabulous! I didn't have time to write in the journal you had left. We were trying to beat the rain so we wouldn't have to drive home in storms.
The beaches were beautiful. The clearest I have ever seen. I also got to see my first dolphin. They were jumping out in the ocean on Friday. I was so excited. I also got a picture of a real Florida gator. We were driving to the Indian Pass oyster bar, which by the way is closed, and while driving back there was the gator in the ditch. I made my husband turn around so I could get a good picture of it. To sum it up, the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Your books were wonderful. I finished 2 and my husband finished 2. The Cape was everything you said it would be and more. We had a wonderful time. It was so hard to leave on Saturday and get back to the real world. I don't think I have ever been so relaxed and rested.I guess you were listening to the news about Arleen, well we went through her and boy was she a mess! The electric was totally out when we arrived but within a few hours it was back on. The water was a mess for a day or so but cleared, but what treasures it left for us, shells were everywhere especially by the lighthouse-- what a treat.We went horseback riding on the beach and took an all day trip out on a pontoon boat-- WOW what fun .We hope to book your beautiful home again in the very near future, hope you will have an opening in the fall, Ed and I would love to come back.Our heartfelt thanks for a wonderful time!Terri and Ed Rotellini
What a relaxing week! Thanks for the perfect place to stay! We couldn't have asked for anything better!Alex, my golden retriever, has never experienced the ocean in her 7 years and what an experience it was! Biting at the waves and chasing her toy in the water, swimming until she was absolutely exhausted! It was wonderful for the both of us--many great memories!We took a sunset cruise and a snorkeling trip at Seahorse Water Safaris in the Port St. Joe Marina. The owners were a lot of fun and educated us on the different life in the ocean. We ate at Dockside Cafe--pretty good--atmosphere was great! The weather was perfect--80's-90's the entire week, which was exactly what we were hoping for!Thanks for everything. I will be sending pictures your way soon! Thank you for your Southern Hospitality! The condo was very nice. With 4 kids the Piggly Wiggly came in very handy! We ate at The Hut--very fresh seafood! It has been so nice not to have a schedule, but we must go home! We met some very nice people from far away and they say this is the best time to come! It rained coming in and was cloudy the first day--75-80 the rest of the stay!
Thank you for everything Wendy and family! We had a great time! It was fun watching the crabs at night on the beach. Another adventure for the Lattner family!

We had a very relaxing time and a lot of fun! The walks on the beach were great! The beach seemed to change in appearance each day. The weather was so-so, but it didn't stop us from relaxing, napping and reading books! Our first family vacation together was most memorable. WE saw a sea turtle laying eggs, which was awesome, but a little scary when we walked up on her! We traveled to Shell Island on Thursday, but sad to say, didn't find many shells. Oh well! We should have taken a 9 am cruise I guess.
Thank you for opening your doors to us. We had a great time. I got a little sun and got to relax! We LOVED going ghost crabbing at night. I had the bright idea to pick one up and got pinched! We laughed and laughed. We also saw a loggerhead turtle building a next and trying to lay eggs. Totally awesome! My son found a sweetie while he was there , so he was happy! Thank you for everything!
**Thanks for all the amenities. I've not had those in other condos that I've stayed in for a week!

We loved every minute! Thanks! We felt completely at home and could not believe the beauty of the beach--even with the amazing waves and awesome wind!
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday--Fantastic! Kayaked in the bay, saw starfish, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs, stingray, etc. Ate at Dockside Cafe in Port St. Joe and really enjoyed it! Had a snack at Beachcomber's--it was OK. Wednesday was another great day. Thursday we went to Apalachicola to shop and eat--enjoyed it all a lot! Friday more beach and lunch at Indian Pass Raw Bar--LOVED it!
It was hard to leave! We all had a fabulous time! Thanks John and Wendy for all your thoughtfulness in providing everything we needed. The beach cart was a great hit! We hope to come back someday!

It was nice meeting you. We had a good trip home but did not want to leave the Cape! It was truly beautiful. It was also more relaxing than our past vacations.
The kids loved the beach and the pool and we all had a wonderful time. The sunsets on the Cape are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We enjoyed canoeing in the bay and spending lots of time on the beach! We had such a relaxing vacation! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home with us! Thank you for all the extras and the information in the Guest book on area activities!

Just a quick note of thanks and appreciation for your help in planning our vacation! We got back today and had a perfect week in your condo! We were impressed with your place. Very well equipped with EVERYTHING. Can't tell you how much we appreciated all the kid/beach gear! Kids loved the kite, too!

We have enjoyed staying at your condo. The condo is a perfect size for and extended stay. We were able to find "our own space" to watch TV, read or nape without interfering with each other. Your directions for accessing the condo are flawless. The condo was waiting for us was clean and orderly. The kitchen is well equipped!
The beaches are great and the local shellfish and restaurants excellent! We added to your activities manual with menus from several places that we enjoyed and the Mass schedule for the Catholic churches in Apalachicola and Port St. Joe.
Thanks again for providing us with an enjoyable, comfortable vacation!

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your condo. Our oldest son is 12. We have been doing Spring Break in Florida at least seven years. I can honestly say of ALL the places we have stayed, yours is BY FAR the nicest. No one could put more thought into the things needed at the beach than you have. My wife wanted to pack up your king-size bed. Lucky for you it wouldn't fit in the car! I cannot begin to indicate all the thoughtful touches you have put into the "comforts" in your place. Let me say that All the things you do make a difference.

Enjoyed the place very much--so many nice things available that we didn't have to purchase (Kleenex, beach stuff, hand soap, etc.). Thanks Wendy!
Like the bay and all the fun stuff to catch and admire and of course, the Gulf is SO beautiful too! We also appreciated the pet friendly neighborhood and beach. While we opted to bring our dogs, we enjoyed the other dogs around! Our son enjoyed skateboarding with some friends he met!
For restaurants we enjoyed Beachcombers, Papa Joe's in Apalachicola was OK, service was a problem! Raw Bar in Indian Pass was "an experience"---good, but not what we expected!

We love the Cape...I cannot even start to explain how wonderful our week was down there....We had a wonderful time and will have to send pics when we can. Our dog (poodle) loved it and we regret not taking our lab!
Thank you so much for all your info and encouragement. We have found our niche. The wildlife is unbelievable. I watched the bald eagles soar above us on several occasions--I will send you a pic or two!

We are back home, drove straight through yesterday. We had a great time. The house was really nice. The beaches at Cape San Blas are beautiful. We will definitely try and go again next year. We cleaned up the place and followed the directions in your book. Hope everything was how it was supposed to be. Thanks for a great place to stay, we will tell our friends/family how nice it was and refer to any/all.
